This information helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse the Site and also to indicate where the Site requires improvement.

Social Media platforms

Social media platforms, in most cases, are operated outside of the EU and do not comply with current Data Privacy Act and subsequent GDPR provision although they may well conform to the U.S Privacy Shield protocol.

Contact Form

When you use our contact form to communicate with us, you provide us with your personal data. We use this data to provide a service or answer an inquiry.

We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it and we are not legally required to continue to keep it.

Reservations

In the case of processing a restaurant booking, a diner provides personal data so they can make a restaurant reservation. A diner agrees to this exchange of information by agreeing to our restaurant privacy policy. A diner’s personal data provided in relation to the service are used to settle the reservation by us and by reservation widget provider.

Your e-mail address is used to confirm your reservation. We also keep you informed of the status of the reservation by e-mail. We may send you further e-mails in relation to quality surveys, special offers and events if you have consented to this at the point of reservation.

Gift Shop

While you visit our site, if we operate a gift shop, we’ll track:
  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed;
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and Postage;
  • Postage address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate Postage before you place an order, and send you the order;

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, Postage address, email address, phone number and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

For example, we will store order information for many years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and Postage addresses.

We will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:
  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and Postage information;

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfil orders, process refunds and support you.

What we share with others

We share the information you provide us with payment gateways to process your payment and with postage providers to deliver your goods.

We share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you.

Payments

We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

2. Uses made of the information

  • To administer the Site and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, system and security updates, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes;
  • To improve the Site to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer;
  • As part of our efforts to keep the Site safe and secure;

  • Your e-mail address is used to confirm your reservation. We also keep you informed of the status of the reservation by e-mail. We may send you further e-mails in relation to quality surveys, special offers and events if you have consented to this at the point of reservation.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
